Relaxing starts here!

My goal has been to share with everyone how to relieve stress and how to make it part of your day. Let's face it, we have tough jobs and relieving stress is often not our first priority. After all, on super hero status, we solve everyone's problems. That 's what we do. I think it's amazing that we set out to make people safe, better, and happy. That means that those same things we provide for others, we must provide for ourselves. Here's my view on it. I often waitied until the end of the day to do what meant something to me, only to find myself skipping it, forgetting it, and forgetting myself. Yes, it comes from my own experience with it all. It's my honor to share with you how to make things better, and how to place yourself on top of the list. That is why I am jumping in and giving you some resources to continue the journey you are on.

First things first. How are you sleeping? If you are not sleeping, you must change that today. There are things that you can do to make your sleeping environment sleep friendly. Before I tell you about those, I would love for you to schedule a physical with your doctor. You want to make sure that there isn't anything going on medically, and that you are healthy. I know going to the doctor can seem scary, but knowing what is going on before it becomes a huge problem is a gift. At least in my opinion, and from my own experience.

Set the scene for sleep. Yes, set the scene. If you work nights and come home to the sun shining brightly, you must get that room to mimic the night time effect. It can be a lot to do in one day, and perhaps you don't have the time to do it. I invite you to make time for yourself. You are important and if no one has told you today, YOU ARE AMAZING!
